TOAD-CRT v1.08.1024.3

Today brings 2 more enhancements to TOAD-CRT:

1. File Menu: new item "Update Pricing for This Order".  This feature will loop through all configured items, launching the Configurator in "silent mode" and setting the List price to the current pricing.  This will be especially helpful to refresh an old quote, or to manage a static inventory pricing file.  If you have more than 1 manufacturer on the order...you can choose to update pricing per-manufacturer (in the event you have price-protection from some vendors).

2. File Menu: new item "Export to SFH".  If you are an SFH(Software-for-Hardware) customer you can use TOAD-CRT during the preliminary stages, and then upload your item list into a Sales Proposal or Sales Order.  You will need a custom reg-key to enable this feature (just drop me an email - [email protected]).

TOAD-CRT v1.08.1023.2

As you can tell, we are in rapid-application-development mode leading up to the DHI convention in Boston (Nov.13-15).  Here's a list of today's enhancements.

1. When moving from row-to-row CRT will now color the Sell Price box Red if the Sell price is less than the cost.  If the Sell Price matches the Quote Net it will color the Sell Price box Blue.
2. I've added an "Order Profit Status" summary as a 2nd Status Bar at the bottom of the screen.  This will constantly recalculate as you add rows or change values.
3. Patched a few non-critical errors that were discovered during new deployments.

TOAD-CRT - More Added Features - 10/22

I just posted version 1.08.1022.3 with a few more new features.
Important Notice!!!
The Markup column functionality has changed!
You will now normally use whole-numbers regardless of how you want the price calculated.
In fact YOU SHOULD NO LONGER USE decimal values for Gross Margin, or negative values for Discount from List.

You can now simply click the column header, and the functionality toggles between "Markup from Net", "Gross Margin" and "Discount from List".

We've also added new items to the Edit menu.
1. Manage Customers and Vendors
2. Manage Quick Picks (I will be elaborating on this more soon...but you can delete now)

TOAD-CRT - Added Features

I posted version 1.08.1020.5 today which includes a bunch of new features.
1. The "Download All" feature from the Status-Bar menu(bottom) will now pull files from the Network-Share (if already established), and then FTP download any remaining files.
2. New "Export to XML (Excel)" on the File menu.  This will allow you to save the line items to an XML file, and work with them in Excel.  This will be helpful when integrating with Inventory systems.
3. New "Hide Pricing" feature for Purchase Orders
4. New "Hide Line-Item pricing" feature for Quotes/Sales Orders.
5. Edit Company Info now allows you to choose a Logo file to be printed on POs, Quotes & Sales Orders.

Modified Release! Ives Configurator is now "Full Line"

Our previous Ives configurator included Hinges & Pivots only.  Since it's original release, Ives combined their catalogs into one price book.  Our configurator now covers the entire "Full Line" catalog.  This is price book 24A (effective July 28, 2008).  We have also deleted all of the items listed on the 9/18 bulletin of discontinued items.

New Release! Stanley Commercial Hardware Book 57CH

This morning I posted into production our first configurator for Stanley Commercial Hardware (Hinges etc).  The price book "effective date" is March 10, 2008.
